Thai dress : พาสรรธ์ เป็นชุดไทยนุ่งสด ดูแลเครื่องแต่งกายเจ้าสาว นุ่งจีบหน้านางผ้ายก ชักชายพกแบบพัด ห่มสไบแพรจีบทับด้วยสะพักปักไหมทอง พร้อมเครื่องประดับอย่างโบราณสุดประณีต ที่สุดแห่งความงาม คลาสสิคเหนือกาลเวลา
แรงบันดาลใจจากชื่อของเจ้าสาว คุณดาว และคุณตั้ม ทำงานที่การไฟฟ้านครหลวง เราจึงตกแต่งโต๊ะอาหารด้วยแสงไฟจากดวงดาว วางบนผ้าโปร่งสีฟ้า แทนก้อนเมฆ และโปรยดาวกระดาษสีพาสเทลตามธีมงาน มีแจกันใสประดับดอกไม้สีหวานๆ โทนฟ้า เทา ม่วง และชมพู ในส่วนของซุ้มถ่ายภาพ ตกแต่งด้วยผ้าเดรป โยงด้วยผ้าลูกไม้ และผ้าโปร่งสีพาสเทล ประดับดอกไม้ในแจกันด้วยดอกไม้สีหวานและใบไม้จริง
พิธีการฉลองมงคลสมรส เราได้ให้คุณตั้ม ที่ถนัดด้านงานไฟฟ้า ได้ทำภาพเมือง และมีการต่อวงจรให้เปิดดวงไฟแทนแสงจากดวงดาว ซึ่งคุณตั้มตั้งใจใช้เวลาเกือบทั้งคืนในการต่อวงจรกว่าจะสำเร็จ ในส่วนของจุดลงทะเบียน เจ้าสาวออกแบบเอง โดยใช้กระดาษรูปดาว แทนญาติฝ่ายเจ้าสาว และรูปสายฟ้าแทนญาติฝ่ายเจ้าบ่าว เขียนชื่อและนำมาติดลงบนภาพท้องฟ้าที่น้องๆออกแบบเอง นอกจากนั้นแล้วคุณดาวมีตุ๊กตาหมีเป็นเพื่อนตั้งแต่เด็กๆ ในวันงานเราจึงพยายามวางน้องไว้แทบทุกที่ในพิธีการ เพื่อให้เราได้บันทึกความทรงจำนี้ไว้ตลอดไป เป็นสิ่งเล็กๆที่เราไม่เคยมองข้าม
พิธีการเปิดไฟดวงดาว
เพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนใจของคู่บ่าวสาวในวันนี้ ดาว และตั้ม
“อยากจะเก็บดาวเดือน มาเรียงร้อย
เป็นสายสร้อย สายใจ ให้ห่วงหา
มัดเธอไว้ ให้ตราตรึงในอุรา
แล้วแขวนไว้บนท้องฟ้า ให้พร่างพราย
ดาวเดือนนั้นจะคอยเป็นสัญลักษณ์
ว่าสองเราจักเคียงคู่ไม่ห่างหาย
จะรักกันพันผูกไม่เสื่อมคลาย
ดังดาวเดือนไม่เคยหายจากนภา”
ขอบคุณที่เป็นแสงดาว ที่ทำให้ฟ้าที่มืดมิด ไม่โดดเดี่ยวและเหน็บหนาวอีกต่อไป มันคงจะดี ถ้าคนเรา ได้ผลัดกันเป็นดาวให้แก่กัน เมื่อยามที่ท้องฟ้าของใครคนหนึ่งมืดมิดลงไป คนรอบข้างก็พร้อมที่จะเป็นแสงดาว และแสงสว่าง แห่งกำลังใจให้คนนั้น ผลัดกันเป็นผู้รับแสง ผลัดกันเป็นผู้ให้แสง การเป็นผู้รับแสง มันทำให้เรามีความสุข จากการได้รับความอบอุ่น และความรู้สึกดีๆ จากคนรอบข้าง ส่วนการเป็นผู้ให้แสง มันก็จะทำให้เรามีความสุข จากความรู้สึกที่ว่าชีวิตของเรา มันมีคุณค่า คนเรา…ถ้าไม่มีช่วงเวลาที่อ่อนแอ ก็คงไม่มีโอกาสที่จะได้เห็นกำลังใจดีๆจากคนรอบข้าง
คนที่ท้องฟ้าของเขาไม่เคยมืดมิด ก็ย่อมไม่เคยได้เห็นถึงความสวยงามของดวงดาว ทุกๆคน ก็คงจะมีดาวบางดวง ที่เราให้ความสำคัญเป็นพิเศษ และตั้งหน้าตั้งตารอคอยแสงจากดาวดวงนั้นมากกว่าดวงไหนๆ ถ้าวันไหนที่ดาวดวงนั้นเปล่งประกาย แม้จะเพียงเล็กน้อย ก็สามารถทำให้ฟ้าทั้งฟ้าที่มืดมิด กลับพลันสว่างไสวได้
A Wedding Story Beneath the Stars
Thai Dress : Passan
For her special day, the bride wore a traditional Thai Passan ensemble, beautifully styled and carefully attended to throughout the ceremony.
The look featured a finely woven brocade skirt, pleated in the elegant Nang-Nieb style, with a fan-shaped side fold known as Chak-Chai-Phok. A pleated silk sabai was draped across the shoulder and layered with a beautifully embroidered saphak, adorned with delicate gold thread.
Completing the look was a set of exquisitely crafted traditional Thai jewelry.
A timeless expression of Thai beauty — elegant, refined, and classic beyond time.
Inspired by Their Story
The inspiration for this wedding began with the names of the bride and groom, Dao and Tum.
As Tum works at the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, we created a concept inspired by the night sky and the gentle glow of stars.
The dining tables were decorated with delicate lights representing twinkling stars, set against sheer blue fabric symbolizing clouds. Pastel paper stars were scattered throughout the tables to complement the wedding theme.
Clear glass vases filled with delicate floral arrangements brought together soft shades of blue, grey, purple, and pink, creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere.
For the photo backdrop, layers of draped fabric were intertwined with lace and pastel-toned sheer fabrics. Soft floral arrangements in sweet pastel shades were placed alongside natural greenery, adding a sense of warmth and effortless elegance.
Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect the couple’s story.
The Wedding Celebration
For the wedding celebration, Tum — who has a natural talent and passion for electrical work — took part in creating a special cityscape installation.
He designed an electrical circuit that would illuminate the individual stars, transforming the installation into a symbolic representation of the couple’s love.
It was a true labor of love. Tum spent almost the entire night carefully connecting and testing the circuit until everything finally came together and the stars lit up.
At the registration area, the bride herself designed a meaningful guest display.
Star-shaped pieces of paper represented the bride’s family, while lightning-shaped pieces represented the groom’s family. Each piece carried a guest’s name and was placed onto a beautiful sky-themed artwork created by the younger members of the family.
There was another little detail that held a very special meaning.
Dao has had a teddy bear as her companion since childhood. On the wedding day, we made sure that her beloved teddy was placed throughout different parts of the ceremony and celebration.
It may have been a small detail, but to us, no meaningful detail is ever too small to overlook.
Because these are the little things that become precious memories — memories that we hope the couple will carry with them forever.
The Lighting of the Stars Ceremony
The lighting of the stars was created as a symbolic moment, representing the love shared by the bride and groom, Dao and Tum.
Each light represented a star — a small but meaningful reminder that two people can become one another’s light, especially when the sky becomes dark.
A Poem Beneath the Stars
I wish to gather the stars and moon,
and string them into a necklace of our hearts.
To hold you close and keep you forever in my heart,
then hang them in the sky, shining bright.May the stars and moon become a symbol,
that the two of us will always walk side by side.
May our love remain bound and never fade,
just as the stars and moon never disappear from the sky.
Be Each Other’s Light
Thank you for being my light — for turning a dark and lonely sky into one filled with warmth and hope.
Perhaps life would be more beautiful if we could take turns being one another’s stars.
When someone’s sky becomes dark, the people around them can become the light that guides them through it — offering warmth, encouragement, and hope.
Sometimes we are the ones who receive the light.
Sometimes we are the ones who give it.
Being the receiver of light brings happiness through the warmth and kindness we receive from those around us.
And being the one who gives light brings a different kind of happiness — the feeling that our lives have meaning, that our presence can make a difference in someone else’s world.
If we never experience moments of weakness, perhaps we would never have the opportunity to see the beautiful encouragement and kindness that surround us.
Those whose skies have never grown dark may never truly understand the beauty of the stars.
Perhaps each of us has a special star that we cherish more than any other — a star whose light we quietly wait for, a light that means something deeply personal to us.
And sometimes, that star does not need to shine brightly.
Even the smallest light can illuminate an entire dark sky.
