The wedding of Prang and Thomas was a beautiful reflection of their desire to celebrate their love through a simple yet heartfelt ceremony, decorated in vintage lace details. Surrounded by family, loved ones, and close friends, every moment unfolded within the warm vintage wooden house of Maison de Mamie, creating an atmosphere filled with elegance, intimacy, and meaningful memories.
A Buddhist Blessing Ceremony to Begin Their New Journey
The morning began with a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony, inviting five monks to offer blessings for the couple’s new life together.
This ceremony was especially meaningful, as one of the monks was the bride’s younger brother, accompanied by fellow monks who were also his close friends. Their familiarity with the family created an atmosphere that felt deeply personal, peaceful, and full of warmth. Both families came together to offer food to the monks and receive their blessings, marking an auspicious beginning to the couple’s married life.
The Khan Maak Procession & Traditional Thai Engagement Ceremony
Following the blessing ceremony, the traditional Khan Maak Procession began. The procession was simple, joyful, and filled with laughter as family members and friends participated together before entering the formal Thai engagement ceremony.
The engagement ceremony took place in an intimate setting, witnessed by the bride’s grandmother, mother, and close friends.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Milo, the couple’s young son, proudly carried the engagement ring tray and presented the rings to his parents. His sweet and innocent role filled the room with smiles and became one of the most memorable moments of the celebration.
After exchanging engagement rings, Prang and Thomas expressed their gratitude to one another with heartfelt embraces. The applause, joyful tears, and warm smiles from their families completed this beautiful chapter of the morning.
Capturing Timeless Memories in a Classic Wooden House
After the ceremony, family and friends gathered for photographs throughout the beautiful vintage house at Maison de Mamie.
Everyone looked elegant in traditional Thai attire, perfectly complementing the timeless architecture and classic atmosphere of the venue.
The bride and groom chose to wear traditional Thai attire (Nung Sod style), beautifully crafted by Pasun, showcasing the elegance of Thai heritage with a refined contemporary touch. Later in the afternoon, the bride changed into a stunning vintage wedding gown from Vintage Bride Kawin, preparing for the wedding celebration.
The Drip Coffee Ceremony — A Small Ritual with Great Meaning
Instead of following a traditional wedding toast, Prang and Thomas chose to share their happiness through a Drip Coffee Ceremony—a unique experience that reflected their personalities and their appreciation for meaningful moments.
